Viewfinder (research)
Viewfinders are responsible for providing research that will help the organization's future directions, focusing on needed areas of care for vulnerable community members.
What volunteers can currently do:
Social Work Action Group Research
A proposal is being developed between SWAG and Vi Corporation to survey the health of individuals experiencing homelessness through qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys about the health, conditions, and concerns of these individuals. Volunteers would be responsible for helping collect the data for research; training and certification is required for participating in this specific research study.
Community Surveys
We want to understand our community's needs and help deliver targeted help in return. To do so, we are hoping to utilize our volunteers to help conduct surveys of individuals and organizations in the community. This information will help direct our future projects and volunteers to better serve the Inland Empire locally.
